applicatie hangt tijdens "repairing records "

De applicatie maakt geen gebruik (meer) van de mdb Dat is de oude ms-access database. Nu (vanaf 2005) maakt het gebruik van een andere SQL database waarvoor ook een server beschikbaar is.

Laat deze call maar varen... Het lijkt er inderdaad op dat het repairen gewoon ontzettend lang duurde, aangezien het nu weer werkt (na 1 sessie de hele repair te hebben laten voltooien, deze liep uiteindelijk wel verder dan de 5%).

Dan heb ik nog een vraag naar aanleiding hiervan:
Ik ben totaal niet bekend binnen het applicatie land binnen onze organisatie, maar kom ivm. de vakantie periode daar nu wel noodgedwongen meer mee in aanraking. Tijdens het uitpluizen hoe deze applicatie werkt, zag ik dat er in onze installatie gebruik wordt gemaakt van een MDB (welke ondertussen richting de 500mb aan het groeien is...). Is het ook mogelijk deze applicatie in een MS-SQL (200x) te draaien?

Toch denk ik dat er iets niet helemaal jofel is. Ik heb een bug report bijgesloten, misschien dat je daaruit iets kan opmaken dat me verder opweg kan helpen om m'n gebruikers weer met deze applicatie aan de gang te krijgen:

De laatste 2 (die door rvo getriggered zijn) heb ik zelf veroorzaakt, maar ik denk dat dat een toegangsprobleem is, geen echte bug (niet zeker?).

Ik denk niet dat het blijft hangen. Meestal is de ioz_img (foto tabel) erg groot en heeft het veel tijd nodig om te repareren.

Het repareren bij opstarten is een instelling die uit te zetten is via het menu "Toon | Instellingen | Tabblad onderhoud"

Tijdens het opstarten van de applicatie wordt er een database reparatie gestart. Deze blijft echter hangen op de melding: IOZ_img: Repairing record, index, and BLOB data, 5% gerepareerd.

zoekhuis.exe versie: 6.0.5.3633
Omgeving: Citrix SBC omgeving Win 2k3 / XP

Tot vanochtend geen problemen ondervonden. Nu treed het bij meerdere gebruikers op. Voor meer informatie, zie contact gegevens (e-mail) in account gegevens.
